About Foot and Ankle Specialists
Foot and Ankle Specialists is a patient-centered podiatry practice with two offices in Summit and Hamilton, New Jersey. The foremost foot and ankle experts, led by Eric Rockmore, DPM, FACFAS, and Jason Jolliffe, DPM, believe in teaming with their patients to ensure individual needs are always met.
While the expert team is experienced in the full spectrum of foot and ankle care, they’re particularly well known for their outstanding results in the treatment of bunions, hammertoes, peripheral neuropathy, and fungal nails.
The Foot and Ankle Specialists team uses the latest cutting-edge approaches for both diagnosis and treatment. The practice uses computer-assisted data analysis to create custom orthotics.

MORTON'S NEUROMA
We have successfully treated patients from the New Jersey and New York region and beyond.
Our Morton's Neuroma patients have traveled from much of the 50 states, including Hawaii, as well as internationally to seek Dr. Rockmore's expertise in Morton's Neuroma treatment. Our goal is to get you back to an active lifestyle and avoid stump neuroma formation. This can be accomplished with either ablation treatment or neuroma decompression.

PLANTAR FASCIITIS
We have successfully treated patients from the New Jersey and New York region and beyond.
While many patients can heal their plantar fasciitis or spur with molded foot orthotics, stretching, and an occasional steroid injection, approximately 10 percent of patients fail to improve after months of these valued treatments. Fortunately, many studies show that one ablation procedure can significantly reduce or eliminate heel pain for as long as 10 years or more.

NEUROPATHY
We have successfully treated patients from the New Jersey and New York region and beyond.
At the Neuropathy Testing and Treatment Centers, the cause of pain or numbness or weakness is investigated thoroughly. Only a thorough investigation can give an effective diagnosis and treatment plan. The diagnosis, Neuropathy, is not enough. We identify if the problem is large fiber or small fiber. EMG can only identify large fiber problems. In addition, the painless quantitative sensory testing can monitor progress and response to treatment over time.

I went through four NJ podiatrists looking for longterm relief for Morton’s neuroma, before I found Dr Rockmore. The only longterm solution my previous doctors offered was surgery to cut the nerve, but there is a 20% risk that the surgery will make the problem worse and harder to treat. Cryosorgery (freezing the nerve) does a somewhat similar thing without the risk, but no one had the necessary equipment. Not only does Dr Rockmore do cryosurgery, but he also does nerve decompression surgery to free the pinched nerve (not unlike carpal tunnel surgery). I chose the decompression (it was covered by insurance, which the cryo wasn’t), and it has been a real game changer for me. It’s been a year since my surgery, and I am still pain free and expect to remain so. None of my 4 previous podiatrists had even mentioned decompression as an option. If you have this condition, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Rockmore.

I saw Dr Rockmore for cryosurgery of my morton's neuroma. The procedure was extremely painful, he had to stop and numb my foot more to continue. I had never experienced a procedure where I endured so much pain before but I've given child birth and it was up there. My foot was in more pain after the procedure than before. In fact i limped for 3-4 months. Dr Rockmore made excuses but an an MRI confirmed i now had a bone marrow edema from the procedure. This procedure is supposed to be risk free. Dr. Rockmore not only failed to completely freeze the nerve, he damaged my bone in my foot leaving me in worse condition than before. I had to consult with a new podiatrist who informed me the bone marrow edema is not a typical result of this procedure. It's been 4 months post procedure and i still have pain in my bone when walking. I would never recommend Dr. Rockmore! Not only did i have to pay out of pocket for this procedure, he inflicted more damage to my foot and charged me a lot of money. Now i have to pay another doctor to do the procedure the right way. This was my worst experience with a doctor.

Went to a foot dr for the 1st time in 20 years! Met Dr Jolliffe and he did a complete exam for neuropathy due to my struggling blood sugars (being a type 1 diabetic) he was straight forward with my diabetes and educated me on maintaining good numbers to prevent nerve damage to my feet! I cannot remember the last time a Doctor has made me feel trust immediately. Dr J, is a sweet, kind listener, and also a dog parent like me. I will continue to see him again as long as he practice. Dr. Jollibee substituted for Dr.Rockmore for my 87 year young mom.
She was apprehensive at first, given her years with Dr. Rockmore (and her affection for him) due to his very polite easy going manner, keeping her comfortable, and of course his professional results.
Dr. Jollibee has been taught and mentored if I remember correctly, by Dr. Rockmore himself.
All the positive traits I described above about Dr.Rockmore, we can enthusiastically attribute to Dr. Jollibee as well.
In fact, my mom made her next appointment with him. He is a most excellent addition to the office.
She gladly would like to support him in his new practice there by being his patient. And she appreciates and thanks Dr. Jollibee for taking her as a patient and treating her with excellent results.
